Novo Tissue Bank & Research Centre was recognised as the Best Tissue Bank by ROTTO–SOTTO Maharashtra. Damini Shah, Assistant Director – Operations, received the award on behalf of NTBRC from Shri Prakashrao Abitkar, Maharashtra’s Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare.

Damini Shah was awarded third place for her presentation, “Three-year prospective evaluation of a structured operational framework for deceased musculoskeletal tissue donation in India."
She developed and operationally led the framework, and its implementation expanded the NTBRC deceased-donor programme.
